Major-league baseball’s Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees return to play here each Spring.
Tampa Bay is also the site of numerous professional and pro-am golfing and tennis events throughout the year. For gaming of a different sort, there is the newly built Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, greyhound racing at Derby Lanes, and thoroughbred action at Tampa Bay Downs.
